Let’s Make It Happen

Experiences make life rich. Many of us want more grit in our lives. We want to get out into the world and make contact with the truest parts of ourselves. Test ourselves against a big landscape and see what we’re made of.

I’ll help you get crystal clear about what matters to you, and make your trip happen. I’ll provide consultation and tools to help you commit to the experience you want to have and craft your own trips. You’ll learn what sacrifices to make to travel with a hop in your step, while carrying what you need to stay safe and comfortable.

Lots of things trip us up when we dream big. We see a big adventure we want, but right on its heels come questions. What permit do I need? How do I know what food to bring? What if I can’t find anyone to go with me? I’ll help you work through the challenges that arise when planning a trip, and get to the point where you launch. Often what blocks us isn’t a lack of information, it’s the overwhelm that comes from never having done this before. I can help you get through planning your trip, and empower you with a process to make the next one easier.

Trail running, fast & light backpacking, bikepacking, or ski-mountaineering, I can help. With over ten years of experience planning and executing complicated backcountry trips, I have the tools to help you execute your own trip, no matter the kind. For an idea of my experience, see my Guide Résumé.

I truly enjoy helping other people develop as responsible and capable backcountry travelers, and I have a lot of fun doing. We’ll talk about your goals and what you want to get out of the experience. I’ll meet you wherever you’re at and work with you to get through the obstacles that inevitably arise.

This is your chance to make your dream trip happen. Will you take it?
